California Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

1		onion (finely chopped)
1	clove	garlic (minced)
1	teaspoon	salt
1⁄8	teaspoon	ground black pepper
1⁄2	teaspoon	chili powder
1⁄2	teaspoon	celery salt
1⁄2	teaspoon	dry mustard
1	tablespoon	worcestershire sauce
1⁄4	cup	brown sugar
1⁄4	cup	vinegar
16	ounce	tomato sauce
4	ounce	tomato purée
1	slice	lemon
1⁄8	teaspoon	tabasco sauce

Instructions

Combine ingredients in your skillet or saucepan in order listed, over medium heat. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until sauce reaches desired consistency.
