Apple-Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients

1⁄2cupteriyaki sauce
1tablespoonlemon juice
6 center-cut pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
1cupunsweetened apple sauce
1⁄4cuporange marmalade
  apple slices (optional)
  parsley sprigs (optional)

Instructions

Combine teriyaki sauce and lemon juice in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Arrange pork chops in dish, turning to coat. Cover and marinate 8 hours in refrigerator, turning meat once.

Remove from refrigerator, let stand 30 minutes. Cover and bake at 350F for 45 minutes; drain drippings from dish.

Combine applesauce and marmalade; stir well. Spoon a thin layer over each pork chop; bake, uncovered, an additional 15 minutes or until done. Serve with remaining applesauce mixture. Garnish with apple slices and parsley, if desired.

Notes

Preparation time does not include marinating time.
