| InstructionsCombine applesauce, egg whites, sugar, and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Beat until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Beat cream in small mixer bowl until stiff. Fold cream into applesauce mixture. Spoon into small baking pan or metal bowl. Freeze until firm, about 3 hours. Let stand at room temperature 10 to 15 minutes to soften slightly before serving. To serve, spoon into serving dishes. Top with brandied cherries. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| NotesPrep time does not include freezing time. As an alternative to brandied cherries, you could also use Cherries in Barolo Wine. | ||||||||||||||||||||
