Bacon-Cheese Spread

16ouncecream cheese (softened)
10slicebacon (cooked and crumbled)
2⁄3cuponion (finely chopped)
1mediumgreen pepper (finely chopped)
3ouncegreen chiles (chopped - and drained if using canned)
1tablespoonlemon juice
1⁄4teaspoongarlic salt
1⁄4teaspoonseasoned salt


Line a 4-cup bowl with plastic wrap. Beat cream cheese; stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Press the mixture firmly into bowl; cover and chill 6 to 8 hours, or overnight. Invert onto a serving plate; remove plastic wrap. Serve with assorted crackers.


Preparation time does not include chilling time.
