InstructionsPlace apples in a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Add water. Combine the flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt, rubbing with your fingers until it forms fine crumbs. Spread the crumbs over the apples. Bake in a 375F oven for about 40 minutes, uncovered. Serve cold, topped with whipped cream, or warm, with ice cream. |
