InstructionsSift flour, baking powder, and salt into medium bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Gradually add milk, tossing with fork, until mixture holds together. Knead briefly and gently on lightly floured board. Pat or roll out dough 3/8-inch thick. Cut into 3-inch rounds with biscuit cutter. Brush tops of biscuits lightly with egg wash. Bake biscuits on lightly greased baking sheet in 375F oven until golden, about 15 minutes. |
