4cupbread crumbs (1/2" cubed)
3⁄4cupbutter or margarine (melted)
2cupblueberries (fresh or frozen)
2tablespoonlemon juice
1⁄2cupbrown sugar


Toss bread cubes with butter, sugar and cinnamon.

Sprinkle berries with lemon juice and brown sugar. Alternate layers of bread cubes with fruit mixture, spreading evenly in 7-1/2" x 12" baking dish.

Bake in moderate oven (350F) 20 to 30 minutes, until bubbly.

May be served warm or cold, plain or topped with cream or whipped cream.
