Ingredients

20cupall-purpose flour
16cupbrown sugar
4teaspoonsalt
5 1⁄4cupmargarine
4teaspoonbaking soda
2tablespoonbaking powder
16 eggs (beaten)
1gallonmilk
4teaspooncinnamon
4teaspoonnutmeg

Instructions

Grease and flour eight to ten 9-inch square baking pans. In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients until crumbly. Reserve 4 cups.

In a separate bowl combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well. Spread the batter into the prepared pans and sprinkle the reserved dry mixture over batter. Bake in a 375F oven until golden brown. Serve warm.

Time can vary depending on exactly how many you make (anywhere from 8 to 10 cakes) and how many you can fit in your oven at one time.
