Ham Hash, Country Style

InstructionsMelt 3 tablespoons fat in a saucepan. Add the onion, green pepper and celery. Saute the vegetables until they are tender but not brown. Mix together the ham, onion, green pepper, celery, potatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to chill thoroughly. Shape the ham hash into 8 round cakes about 1/2 inch thick. Brown on both sides on a lightly greased griddle or heavy frying pan. |
