Ingredients

2cuppeas (fresh, shelled)
2cupwater (boiling)
1tablespoonbutter
1⁄2teaspoonsalt
  sugar

Instructions

Add peas to boiling water and cook slowly until done, about 20 to 25 minutes. Drain them, add butter and a sprinkling of sugar, correct seasoning and mix all together.

Notes

If you are using frozen or canned peas, you will want to cut the cooking time in half - or as per the instructions on the pack.
