Ingredients

1cuplight brown sugar (packed)
1⁄2cupbutter (softened)
1 egg (well beaten)
2cuppureed pumpkin (cooked fresh or canned)
2 3⁄4cupall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
1⁄2teaspoonsalt
1⁄2teaspooncinnamon
1⁄4teaspoonnutmeg
1⁄4teaspoonginger
1cupnuts (chopped)
1cupraisins

Instructions

Gradually add sugar to butter, beating until fluffy. Beat in egg and pumpkin. Combine flour with remaining ingredients. Stir into pumpkin mixture, blending well. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in a 350F oven about 12 minutes. Remove to a cake rack to cool.
