Scalloped Potatoes

InstructionsPeel and grate the raw potatoes, using a grater or salad maker, and immediately add to the flour, salt and pepper, stirring with a wooden spoon until thoroughly mixed. Put half the potato mixture in a 2-quart buttered baking dish, dot with 1 tablespoon of the butter, add the remaining potatoes, and dot with the remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Pour milk over the potatoes and bake in a 350F oven for 1 1/4 hours. If the potatoes are not golden brown on the top, put under the broiler for a couple of minutes. |
