Sesame-crisped Chicken

1⁄4cupsoy sauce
2 1⁄2tablespoondry sherry
2tablespoonvegetable oil
2tablespoonorange marmalade
1clovegarlic (minced)
1 1⁄2teaspoonsesame oil
1⁄4teaspoonhot pepper sauce
4 chicken breast halves (skinned)
6 3.5-inch sesame breadsticks (crushed)


Combine first 8 ingredients in blender or processor and mix well. Pour into shallow baking dish. Add chicken and turn several times to coat evenly. Cover and chill several hours or overnight, turning occasionally.

Heat oven to 375F. Grease 9x9-inch baking dish. Drain chicken, reserving marinade. Arrange in a single layer in prepared dish. Sprinkle with crushed breadsticks and dot with butter. Bake, basting frequently with reserved marinade, until chicken in tender and juices run clear when pricked with fork, about 25 minutes. Serve hot.
