4smalltrout (fresh or frozen. Thaw frozen trout.)
2teaspoononion salt
2teaspoondill weed
3tablespoonlemon juice


Wash and wipe trout well. Melt butter in a large heavy skillet. Pan fry trout in butter sprinkling interior with onion salt and dill weed during cooking. Cook 10 minutes on each side until fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove to serving platter. Stir lemon in pan juices. Pour over fish to serve.
